A long time ago, just months after meeting my Taurus, I decide to go on a long bus ride with him.
Just to give you the background behind the bus ride. My Taurus lives only a few suburbs away from me but usually none of the buses we take share the same bus route. My Taurus takes a bus which gets him home by the expressway, an Express bus that stops at selected stops. As we head out to the bus interchange that evening, he invited me to take his bus. If I did, I’d have to take another bus from his stop rounding back to my home.
I agreed of course because I wish to know him more at that time and I am sure he invited me because he’d like to spend time with me too. The bus ride with him would take about an hour.
We didn’t talk much cos we’re both tired. After 30 min on the bus, he began checking out alternative routes on his mobile phone.
“Here, you can take bus xxx and change to bus 51.”
I felt a few seconds of disappointment when I heard this. I was disappointed he didn’t have the desire to spend more time with me, as I do. Even though we didn’t talk much, being together was enough for me. (We didn’t have much time at work to talk to each other during that time, so get-together-time was precious.)
A min later, I felt happy instead. It came to my realisation that he is thinking in terms of my interest, wanting me to get home faster so I could rest. Being the Taurus, he is showing his practical side and not letting emotions cloud him. It also hit me that he wanted a longer term relationship with me, that’s why half an hour more does not make much of a difference in his books.
Now, what is the message that I’m getting at?
Most ladies would have interpret the above scenario as their Taurus not having an interest in them. Some would have made a big deal out of it and perhaps confront the Taurus on his behaviour.
Now to understand Taurus, you need to put yourself in his place and think like one.
Taurus are straightforward, but they are not verbal. Their usual style is to reply with few words or one liner. You seldom see them write long paragraphs unless they are at work and the occasion calls for it. Due to the simple one-liner, women find themselves having to make all sorts of interpretations behind his intention. For women who don’t understand astrology, they got it wrong most times.
So my message to women who have issues with Taurus, start brushing up your astrology now. Don’t be lazy. Asking for third party opinion might be helpful, but if you don’t make the effort to understand Taurus, you are not going to live through a relationship with one breezily.
