Confessions of a Taurus

Below is what I learnt from a Taurus when I talked to him about love and relationships:

 

What makes a Taurus tick?

I am a Taurus. Young, handsome, sweet and charming, ladies love me and quite a number want me to commit to them.

Here are some basics about me: I love good food and love to travel. I also work very very hard. My bosses love me because I don’t do anything half-@ss. My main goal in life is to live in security with as little effort as possible. I love to drink and drown myself in booze, but my ideal life is to settle into a cozy home with a beautiful, smart woman I truly love ………AND THAT IS HARD.

I have two major relationships in my life. The first one is in high school and it lasted 5 years. The second lasts for 3 years. I am 31 by the way. I might have a few flings but when I decide to go into a relationship, I am very serious and I go for the long haul. If you want to know what makes me tick, here are my real thoughts: To be real honest with you, Taurus men (in my opinion) will not easily like a girl, but once he  liked you as a person – that is your appearance, talents, speech and what you have, he will grow on you and be around you A LOT. I use the word like, because it is very very hard for us to get to the love stage.

Au contraire, if he does not like you even if you are good in his eyes, but if he did not feel you, you will most likely have no chance…….. We don’t like to waste our efforts on things or people we are not interested in. Life is short. We know that. Maybe you are very beautiful and attractive, but if we don’t like you, it’s hard to change our minds. Perhaps for a long time, he will not care for you, or even dislike you, but please remember that as long as some of your shortcomings are in his acceptable range and you are a good person, he will choose to be friends with you. If I become very naggy and pick on you………”Remember, next time must be more careful with blah blah blah” “Can you dress more feminine and pls don’t try to talk too loudly in public” “Your chicken wings taste very bland, must use a bit more BBQ sauce.”……….. It means I care about you and might consider you as a potential. Overtime, I may even develop a relationship with you if I could not find a better choice (sorry ladies, but that is quite true, we always have back up plans and is always waiting for someone better who comes along until we realise we could not have someone better.) But if you have a fatal, unforgivable shortcoming which he cannot tolerate, or you simply REFUSED to change………….

Be prepared to be ignored for life!

Some ladies ask me these questions a lot:

He said he love me, like me and accept me, but after catching me, he changed. Why is that so?

To me, if you have shortcomings or signs that I do not like you, I won’t tell you because I expect you to know and understand me. I will use little actions to tell you that I did not have confidence in you (ignore you, too lazy to respond to your messages, I might retreat, not make any contact and you feel the cold vibe) … if you do not change, I am pretty much done with you. Yes, we can be the sweetest thing in the world when we set our eyes on you, but if you make us feel uncomfortable, insecure or just irritates our being, we can’t make it to the next stage. We go for the sure thing. We want someone who won’t leave us, but it has to be the right person -someone we are comfortable with, is loyal to us and we can tell them things about us. There are so many good women out there, and we Taurus don’t have issues getting a girl (yes, we can be very popular with women because we are attractive and talented), why not go for an easier lady who is willing to make effort in understanding us, change for us and be there for us?  It’s hard to change ourselves, so we prefer if our ladies can change their ways to suit us. We know we can be quite difficult that way, but it’s our nature and WE CAN”T BE CHANGED AND HATE CHANGES.

How to get a Taurus back if he ignores you?

If your Taurus ignores you for some time, you need to give him some time and space. Choose to be his friend first and find out what matters to him. When a Taurus knows you are making an effort to understand him and be in his life, he will occasionally drop hints to you about the things that matter to him. You just need to be observant and look out for these signs. I also HATE DRAMA, so don’t ever argue with us over little things ladies. There are too many distractions in life that demand our attention, so don’t create more drama in our lives.

A Taurus’ love values

Taurus break up with the ladies they love as a last resort. If you ask me what are the reasons for breaking up, there are many, but the usual ones are I could not see a future with you.  Even if I love you to death and it breaks my heart in doing so, I will still break up with you. Taurus takes VERY VERY long time to go into relationships (yes, we are very slow and we have weird tempers), we also take a long time to get out of a relationship too. Chances are I’d want to be friends for life with you, rather than get-together and break up in the future when things go wrong. So many people have misunderstood that we Taurus only love money, hold not importance for love, afraid of commitment and are cold,, ruthless to women we care about. That is such a big fallacy. We feel a lot for the ones we love and we place a lot of  attention to these feelings. We make money because we understand the importance of money too much for a successful, fulfilling relationship. We want to shower our loved ones with the best things in life. We are too responsible to allow our relationships to fail or let our loved ones down. We feel most people talk about love and marriage too easily, then end up in the poorhouse or divorce due to lack of planning. We do not want that in our lives because our lady love and love itself are too important to us.

And we never FORGET!!

When we are not ready for relationships, be sure we are working our a$$ off to ensure a financially secure future for you and our children. Sometimes, our love marry another because they do not have the patience to wait for us. It’s a great tragedy and we usually try very hard to get her back. Believe me, a Taurus will NEVER forget someone he truly loves. Even if you’re married, I will still look you up and tell you I love you. Then, when I realise we can’t be together, I might leave and watch you from afar. But I will never get over you. Broken dreams are too shattering to a Taurus.
